A Curious Nature - Jacqui Stockdale at Geelong Gallery, 2012
Photographic works from Jacqui Stockdale's acclaimed 'The Quiet Wild' series have been curated into an exhibition opening tonight at Geelong Gallery. 'A Curious Nature - the landscape as theatre in contemporary photography and new media' explores images in which the landscape is the setting for performative actions, often of a peculiar or absurdist nature. The exhibition also includes works by Gabriella and Silvana Mangano, Polixeni Papatrou and Christian Thompson.
The show runs until 10 February 2013; the perfect summer holiday outing!
